You cannot be certain of what you create

At first glance of the title, it might seem a bit negative – like, why even bother creating anything if you can’t be sure of the outcome? But when you think about it more, it actually holds a lot of truth.

First of all, it’s important to remember that as humans, we can never truly know or predict everything. Even with the most thorough planning and research, there will always be unknown variables that can impact the outcome of something we create.

Let’s say you’re creating a new product. You might think you’ve got everything figured out – you’ve done your market research, you’ve got a great team working on it, and you’ve even done test runs and gotten positive feedback. But once you actually release that product to the public, there’s no telling how it will be received. Maybe it’ll be a huge success, or maybe it’ll flop. You just never know.

But that’s not a bad thing! In fact, it’s what makes creating so exciting. When we’re creating something new, we’re venturing into uncharted territory. We’re taking risks, and we’re not entirely sure what the outcome will be. But that’s what makes it so thrilling – the possibility of success, the chance to make a real impact. It’s what drives us to keep creating, even when things don’t go as planned.

And let’s not forget that even when things don’t go as we’d hoped, we still learn from our mistakes. We can take what we’ve learned and apply it to our next project, and make it even better. So, even when things don’t work out as we’d hoped, we’re still making progress, and we’re still growing.

Another thing to consider is that what we create may not always be under our control. For example, when we create a piece of art, we may have a clear vision in mind of what we want it to look like, but once it’s finished, it takes on a life of its own. People may interpret it in ways we never imagined, they may find new meaning in it. And that’s beautiful, isn’t it? That something we created can inspire such a wide range of thoughts and emotions in others. It means we’ve truly created something special.

Hence I believe that “You cannot be certain of what you create”. It’s a reminder that we can never truly predict or control the outcome of our creations. But that’s not a bad thing – it’s what makes creating exciting, it’s what drives us to keep pushing forward, and it’s what makes our creations truly special. So let’s embrace the uncertainty and keep on creating!
